Removing and installing window regulator switch E40/E41 (driver's side)

Removing and installing window regulator switch -E40-/-E41- (driver's side)

Removal:

–	Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and take out ignition key.

–	Remove door trim (front) → Rep. gr.70.

–	Use small screwdriver to carefully release retaining hooks -arrows-.

–	Pull window switch downwards out of door trim.

–	Unplug electrical connector -1- at window switch -2-.

Installation

Installation is carried out in reverse order, noting the following:

–	Press window switch into switch mounting until retaining hooks engage.

–	Install door trim (front) → Rep. gr.70.
