Removing and installing window regulator switches E40/E41/E53/E55
Removing and installing window regulator switches -E40-/-E41-/-E53-/-E55-
Removal:
   
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and take out ignition key.
–  Remove door trim (front) → Rep. gr.70.
–  Release retaining hooks on armrest side by pressing retaining element -arrows-.
–  Use small screwdriver to carefully release retaining hooks -1- on side of trim.
–  Pull window switches -2- downwards out of door trim.
–  Unplug electrical connector -3- at window switch.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order, noting the following:
–  Press window switch into switch mounting until it engages.
–  Install door trim (front) → Rep. gr.70.
