Removal:
–  Completely remove steering wheel with regulating device and adjust downwards.
–  Remove Airbag unit and steering wheel → Interior body installation work; Rep. gr.69
  WARNING
Coil connector with slip ring must not be turned out of centre position (secure in installation position using adhesive tape).
   
–  Remove bolts -1-, remove upper panel of steering column in -direction of arrow-.
–  Completely detach upper panel of steering column with dustguard; fixed to panel frame.

–  Remove time-set button, pulling from -1- and the two interior securing bolts -2-.

–  Carefully remove dial from instrument panel, with lever -U-30800-in direction of-arrow-.

–  Remove bolts -4- and remove handle -3- for adjusting steering column.
–  Unscrew bolts -1-, -2- and -5-.
–  Detach bottom section of steering column trim.

–  Unfasten retaining clips -arrow- and disengage locking switch-1- from steering lock housing.
