Removing and fitting the headlamp range adjustment control unit J431

Removing and fitting the headlamp range adjustment control unit -J431-

Removing:

–	Disconnect ignition and all electrical loads, and remove ignition key.

–	Remove the side trim-1- from the instrument panel, by inserting for example, lever -U-30800- and levering it off.

–	Unscrew bolts -1- and remove the headlight range adjustment control unit -J431-.

–	Unlock the fastening -2- in the direction shown by the -arrow- and remove the connector -1- of the headlamp range adjustment control unit -J431-.

Installing:

Installation is carried out in the reverse order, noting the following:

–	Lock the connector -1- by pressing the fastening -2- in the direction shown by the -arrow-.

–	Fix the unit with the two bolts.

Note

After installing a new headlamp range adjustment control unit -J431- it should be encoded → Chapter.
