  Note
t  The left-hand side parking light bulb -M1- and the right-hand side parking light bulb -M3- can be checked through the control diagnosis of the onboard supply system -J519-.
t  The figures show how to replace the bulb for the side light on the left headlamp.
t  Replacing the side light lamp for the right-hand side -M3- is done the same way.
Removing:
–  Disconnect ignition and all electrical loads, and remove ignition key.
   
–  Remove neighbouring components such as the air filter compartment, the fuel filter or the activated charcoal filter, if necessary.

–  Unlock the cover -1- by turning it backwards -arrow- and remove it.
–  Remove the lamp holder -1- by pinching the two attachments -arrows-, as much as the length of the wires will allow.
–  Remove the parking lamp from the lamp holder, all glass.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, noting the following:
  Caution
When fitting, ensure that the cover is assembled correctly. If water enters the lamp, this will cause damage.
When fitting the lamp, be careful not to touch the bulb with fingers. Greasy marks left by fingers on the bulb will evaporate on switching on the gas discharge lamp. Then the bulb will become opaque.
–  Check headlight functions.
