Removing and installing power output module for headlight
  Note
t  The figures show how to replace the headlight power module, using the left headlight as an example.
t  The replacement of theright headlight power module -J668- is done the same way.
Removing:
–  Disconnect ignition and all electrical loads, and remove ignition key.
–  Remove headlight → Chapter.
   
–  Unscrew the securing screws -arrows- and remove the metal protective plate -1- from the unit.

–  Disconnect thepower module for the left headlight -J667- or the power module for the right headlight -J668--1-, by unlocking the locks -arrow- carefully so as not to damage them.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, noting the following:
–  Plug in electric connectors
–  Tighten nuts and bolts to the torques shown.
  Caution
When fitting, ensure that the joint is fitted correctly. If water enters the lamp, this will cause damage.
  Note
After installing a new power module for headlights, the curve light and headlamp range control control unit -J745- → Chapter must be encoded; then the basic adjustment must be made of the headlights → Booklet101.
–  Check headlight functions.
–  Check headlight setting and adjust headlight as necessary → Booklet101.
