Preparation work for calibrating the reversing camera:
To use the calibration unit correctly, read the → operating instructions of the tool calibrating unit -VAS 6350- and distance laser -VAS 6350/2-.
The vehicle must be standing on a firm and even surface in order to perform calibration. Nobody may be inside vehicle during measurement. Do not move the vehicle and do not open or close any of the vehicle doors when performing calibration.
–  Checking the tyre pressures.
–  Connect up the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system -VAS 505X-.
–  Using the aid of the Vehicle information, measurement and diagnosis system -VAS 505X -, move the steering angle sender -G85- to position 0 (wheels in a straight line).
–  Remove the caps from the securing bolts.
Overview of assembled measuring facility:
   
1 - The wheel centre mounting -VAS 6350/1- comprises:
q   Adjustment disc -VAS 6350/1-1-
q   Paddle -VAS 6350/1-2-
q   Wheel bolt adapter, 17mm -VAS 6350/1-3-
2 - Right and left angle piece for mounting the distance laser -VAS 6350/2-
3 - Plastic foot
q   The calibration platform -VAS 6350/2-1- has three adjustable feet for setting up horizontally on the ground.
4 - Linear laser -VAS 6350/3-
q   Mount the calibration platform -VAS 6350/2-1- via the guide profile → Operating instructions.
