Mounting the closing cylinder
  Caution
Do not remount the bodies of the steering lock that have been drilled.
–  Press the cylinder lock on the body of the lock towards the direction.
–  Use a wrench to turn slightly the lock cylinder, so that the cylinder may be pushed in all the way.
–  Push the body of the steering lock and the spring over the steering column.
–  Place the adapter casing over the steering column.
   
–  Place the nut and tighten, until it seats completely on the adapter casing.
–  Verify that casing is firmly seated.
  Note!
In case that the steering column does not come out completely from the surrounding tube, pull outwards the steering column from the hexagonal nut.
–  Couple the multicontact connector to the starter switch.
–  Couple the immobiliser reading coil or, better said, the immobilizer control unit connector.
–  Mount the steering column combined switch → Chapter, Steering column combined switch: removal and installation.
–  Mounting the compartment.
