Fitting the steering column switch > < Remove the switch fitted on the steering column
Install the switch fitted on the steering column
Install the switch fitted on the steering column
Install in the reverse order.
–  Install the passenger side airbag unit . → Bodywork - Installation work; Rep. Gr.69
  Note!
t  Consult the radio antitheft code before disconnecting the battery earth strap.
t  If the battery is reconnected, the vehicle equipment (radio, clock, electric windows) must be checked, following the instructions in the Repair Manual and/or Instruction Manual.
–  Removing the driver airbag. → Bodywork, fitting work, interior; Rep. Gr.69
   
–  Remove the Phillips head screws -1-.
–  Remove the Torx bolt -2-.
–  Removing the lower steering column switch lining -3-.

–  Unplug the connector from the recoil unit.
–  Unscrew the hexagonal nut (50 Nm) -2-.
–  Set the steering wheel -1- in the middle position (wheels straight).
–  Remove the steering wheel -1- from the steering column.
–  Remove the upper steering column switch lining -1-.

–  Unscrew the fixing bolts -arrows-.

–  Unplug the connectors -arrows- from the steering column switch.
–  Remove the connector -1- from the guide next to the steering lock body, pulling downwards.
