Note! If any damage is observed the ribbed belt should be replaced to prevent stoppages or errors in any component.- |

| Rotate the engine manually and verify the Poly-V belt checking the following: |

| Tears in the substructure (cracks, internal breakages, lengthways breakages) |
t
| Layer separation (casing layer, traction breaks) |
t
| Detachment of the substructure |
t
| Side wear (material wear, frayed sides, hardened sides -glassy sides-, surface cracks) |
t
| Traces of oil and grease |
