  Note!
If any damage is observed the ribbed belt should be replaced to prevent stoppages or errors in any component.-
–  Rotate the engine manually and verify the Poly-V belt checking the following:
t  Tears in the substructure (cracks, internal breakages, lengthways breakages)
t  Layer separation (casing layer, traction breaks)
t  Detachment of the substructure
t  Frayed traction belts
t  Side wear (material wear, frayed sides, hardened sides -glassy sides-, surface cracks)
t  Traces of oil and grease
