1 - Pay attention to the instructions for the battery in the repair manual and in the operating instructions.
2 - Danger of cauterization:
 - The battery acid is highly corrosive: wear protective gloves and eye protection.
 - Do not tilt the battery. Acid may escape from the degassing holes.
3 - Fire, sparks, the exposure to sunlight and smoking prohibited:
 - Avoid sparks jumping when handling wiring and electrical devices.
 - Avoid short circuits.
4 - Wear eye protection.
5 - Keep children away from the acid and batteries.
6 - Disposal:
 - Leave spent batteries at a disposal centre.
7 - Never dispose of spent batteries with normal rubbish.
8 - Danger of explosion:
 - When batteries are charged, a mixture of highly explosive gas is generated.
