1 - | Pay attention to the instructions for the battery in the repair manual and in the operating instructions. |
2 - | Danger of cauterization: |
- | The battery acid is highly corrosive: wear protective gloves and eye protection. |
- | Do not tilt the battery. Acid may escape from the degassing holes. |
3 - | Fire, sparks, the exposure to sunlight and smoking prohibited: |
- | Avoid sparks jumping when handling wiring and electrical devices. |
5 - | Keep children away from the acid and batteries. |
- | Leave spent batteries at a disposal centre. |
7 - | Never dispose of spent batteries with normal rubbish. |
- | When batteries are charged, a mixture of highly explosive gas is generated. |
