General description
The cruise control (GRA) functions are regulated by the engine control unit.
Besides the switch for the GRA -E45- and the SET button for the GRA -E227- which are incorporated into the combined steering column switch, there are no other components.
–  Removing and installing the switch for the GRA -E45- and the SET button for the GRA -E227- (combined steering column switch).
–  The cruise control can be activated/deactivated → Chapter.
Detection and display of faults:
The speed control errors are transmitted by the engine control unit and the on board network control unit -J519-.
For fault location, use the function “guided fault finding” of the information, measuring and fault diagnosis system -VAS 5051A-.
