| There is no need to disconnect and remove the battery if the battery tester -VAS 5097 A- is used. |
| With the battery tester with printer -VAS 5097 A- the following 12 V batteries can be tested: |

| cold testing current of 80 to 520 A according to DIN (German industrial standard) → Remark |

| cold current verification of 95 to 574 A, according to IEC (International Engineering Consortium) |
| t
| cold current verification of 136 - 855 A, according to EN/SAE (Europäische Norm/ Standard of Automotive Engineers) |

| Batteries with a low temperature test current more than 499A according to DIN (e.g. 520A, 580A or 600A) can be checked provisionally with the setting for 499A according to DIN. |
| For the battery test they are subject to a current equal to that of starting a normal saloon car. Under these conditions, the condition of the battery is assessed and the measurement result is printed out. |
