Before beginning with the assembly work, the following measures must be carried out:
–  Disconnect ignition and all electrical loads, and remove ignition key.
For replacing the frequency amplifier, first the interior trim of the tailgate must be removed.
   
–  Remove trim of the tailgate. → Bodywork, Interior fitting work; Rep. gr.70

–  Unclip plug connections on frequency amplifier and disconnect connectors-Arrows-.
–  Remove bolt -2-.
–  Carefully pry frequency amplifier up with suitable screwdriver and remove through installation opening.
