t  Radio remote control (e.g. garage door opener) and cordless end devices (e.g. keyboard / mouse for PC) may only be operated in the vehicle when the transmission performance of the device is maximum 100 mW.
t  An „e-marking“ is required for portable radio devices (applies only for Europe).
t  Mobile telephones and other communication equipment using radiofrequency (business equipment) that are not part of the vehicle standard equipment must have the „CE mark“ (valid only in Europe).
t  Strictly observe the manufacturer's operating and installation instructions for mobile telephones, radio frequency equipment and aerials.
t  An exterior aerial must be used to take advantage of the full scope of these devices.
t  Incorrect installation of the telephone or radio frequency equipment may negatively impact the operation of the safety systems, such as the ABS or the airbag. To avoid this, it is essential not to manipulate the installation. Also, prevent the wiring of these devices from running parallel to these systems.
t  If mobile telephones or radio frequency equipment is used without an external aerial, or the installation is incorrect, excessive electromagnetic fields may be produced inside the vehicle.
This may endanger the health of the passengers. Also, the operation of the vehicle electronic systems may be affected.
