Deactivating the radio block, with electronic anti-theft protection
In order for a blocked radio to start working again, the correct code for the electronic anti-theft protection must be re-entered.
  Note
t  To obtain the code to secure the electronic anti-theft system, use the radio serial number that appears on the display when the radio is blocked, or the serial number on the label on the side of the radio box.
t  For safety reasons, the code should not be given to the customer. If necessary, consult code using the after-sales informative network.
t  If a radio is replaced, the code number of the replacement radio must be used.
–  Obtaining unit code.
–  Connect radio equipment.
„SAFE“ will automatically appear on the system. After approximately 5 seconds, 4 underscores will appear to indicate the position and make-up of the radio anti-theft code. There is no need to operate any buttons.
The dial can be used to change the value of each position. The value that changes corresponds to the position that is illuminated. When the value of a position corresponds to a value in the code, press the - > - key to move to the next position. If necessary, press the - <- button to return to the previous position.
–  Next, quickly press the key to the left of the dial to confirm the code
The radio unit will now be ready for use and will switch on in its last operative position.
  Note
t  If the anti-theft code is entered incorrectly on two occasions, the radio unit will be blocked for 1 hour.
t  This is shown with the continual display of „error SAFE code 2 “ on the radio display.
t  The radio must remain switched on to be able to remove the block of the radio. The block is removed after a period of 1 hour.
