The standard headset HFP „(Hands Free Profile)“ is used for the audio channel of the telephone / speech channel. Only voice data can be transferred by this.
An aerial is installed on the inside of the transmitting and receiving device for telephone -R36- housing.
For maintenance work or fault-finding, use: → vehicle diagnosis, testing and information systemsVAS 5051 or the Vehicle diagnosis and service information systemVAS 5052, function „Guided fault finding“, → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations.
