Removing
Removing
–  Removing toothed belt → Chapter.
   
–  Screw out the fixing screws -1- of the camshaft sprocket.
–  Remove camshaft sprocket from the hub.

–  Loosen fixing screw -1- of the hub.
   Use counterholder -T10051- for this purpose.
–  Unscrew the fixing screw of the hub by approx. 2 turns.

–  Position extractor -T10052- align them with the hub bores.
–  Screw fixing screws -1- into the hub.
–  Put the hub under tension by uniformly tightening the central bolt -2- until the hub is released from the camshaft cone.
  Note
Hold the extractor firmly using an open-end wrench.
–  Remove hub from cone of camshaft.
–  Remove cylinder head cover.
–  Remove valve-lever shaft.
  Note
First release crosswise the two outer and then both inner fixing screws.
–  Remove tandem pump → Chapter.
–  First remove bearing caps 2 and 3. Release bearing caps 1 and 4 alternately and crosswise.
  Note
Bearing cap 4 is identified like bearing cap 5.
