Summary of components of bulkhead
  Note
t  The bulkhead -1- is fastened with screws -2- and glued with PUR adhesive cement -3-.
t  The bulkhead can only be removed from the vehicle once the assembly, the components leading through the bulkhead, the wiring looms etc. were removed.
   
1 - Front wall
Removing:
–  Remove screws (Pos. 2).
–  Cut out the bulkhead e.g. with a cutting cord.
–  Remove the bulkhead from the vehicle.
Installing:
–  Prepare the adhesive surface (proceed in a similar way as for glueing the window pane → Chapter).
–  Apply adhesive cement (proceed in a similar way as for glueing the window pane → Chapter).
–  Slightly press the bulkhead onto the body with the adhesive cement applied and align on the provided point with screws.
–  Install screws (Pos. 2) and tighten to the recommended tightening torque.
2 - 25 Nm
3 - PUR - adhesive cement
–  DH 009 100 03.
–  Width 8 mm, height 10 mm.
–  Hardening time → Chapter.
