Removing:
–
Remove nuts
-2-
(2 Nm).
–
Remove vehicle floor cover
-1-
or
-3-
(left or right).
Installing:
–
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Tunnel-heat shield
Removing:
–
Remove vehicle floor cover on left and right
→ Anchor
.
–
Remove tunnel bridge
→ Anchor
.
–
Loosen fixing nuts for front exhaust pipe hanger
→ Engine
→ Rep. gr.26
.
–
Loosen screws for rear exhaust pipe hanger
→ Engine
→ Rep. gr.26
.
–
Separate the exhaust pipe and unhook downwards
→ Anchor
→ Engine
→ Rep. gr.26
.
–
Slacken nuts
-2-
(1.5 Nm) and remove heat shield
-1-
from the bolt
-3-
.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Tunnel bridge
Removing:
–
Remove nuts
-arrows-
(20 Nm) and remove tunnel bridge.
–
If the exhaust pipe must be removed, slacken the screws on the double clamp

→ Engine
→ Rep. gr.26
.
Installing:
–
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Heat shield cover - middle
Removing:
–
Remove screws for support of fixing belt for fuel tank
→ Engine
→ Rep. gr.20
.
–
Remove screw for rear exhaust pipe hanger
→ Engine
→ Rep. gr.26
.
–
Unhook exhaust pipe as far as possible downwards
→ Engine
→ Rep. gr.26
.
–
Remove circlips
-1-
(F = 1.5 Nm).
–
Remove heat shield cover
-2-
.
Installing:
–
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Heat shield cover - rear
Removing:
–
Remove screw
-3-
for rear exhaust pipe hanger
-2-
→ Engine
→ Rep. gr.26
.
–
Unhook exhaust pipe as far as possible downwards
→ Engine
→ Rep. gr.26
.
–
Remove screws
-5-
(23 Nm).
–
Remove circlips
-4-
(F = 1.5 Nm).
–
Remove cover.
Installing:
–
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Replace circlips
-4-
with new ones if damaged.
