Removing and installing the side airbag sensor
Removing and installing the side airbag sensor
  WARNING
Safety measures should be observed when handling the airbag units → Chapter.
Removing:
  Note
Disconnect battery earth strap → Electrical System → Rep. gr.27.
–  Remove front seat → Chapter.
–  Remove bottom trim panel of pillar B → Chapter.
–  Pull off floor covering.
   
–  Disconnect plug connection -2-.
–  Remove screws (9 Nm) -3- and remove the sensor for side airbag -1-.
Installing:
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
  Note
Pay attention to the sequence when connecting the battery → Electrical System → Rep. gr.27.
