Removing and installing the rear door trim panel
   
Removing and installing the rear door trim panel
1 - Rear door trim panel
Removing:
–  Switch off the ignition and all electrical components.
–  Lever out cover for door handle -7- from bottom to top with e.g. door panel inner trim removal tool -MP8-602/1-.
–  Remove fixing screw -5- for door trim panel.
–  Remove screws -6-.
Vehicles with power windows
–  Lever out switch unit for power windows -4- → Electrical System; Rep. gr.96.
–  Disconnect the plug connection.
For all vehicles
–  Unclip trim panel with e.g. removal tool for the inner lining of the door panel -MP8-602/1-.
–  Unhook the control cable from the interior door handle -8-.
–  Release plug for speaker (depending upon equipment).
–  Slightly raise trim panel -1- upwards and remove.
Installing:
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
–  Replace clips -2- with new ones if damaged.
2 - Plastic clip
3 - Insertion nut
4 - Switch unit for power windows
5 - 0.7 Nm
6 - 4 Nm
7 - Door handle
8 - Interior door handle
9 - Bolt
