Removing and installing the top trim panel for the tailgate > < Removing and installing side trim panel of pillar D in the luggage compartment

Removing and installing the tailgate/luggage compartment cover
Removing and installing the tailgate/luggage compartment cover
Removing:
–  Raise the luggage compartment-floor covering.
–  Take out the spare wheel.
   
–  Slacken nuts -3- (2.2 Nm).
–  Remove the tailgate/luggage compartment cover -1- from the clips -2- forwards and upwards with e.g. removal tool for the inner lining of the door panel -MP8-602/1-.
Installing:
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse order; pay attention to the following points:
–  Recondition the clips -2- in the tailgate/luggage compartment cover -1- or in case of damage replace with new ones.
