V-ribbed belt drive - Summary of components
1 - Tensioning pulley for ribbed V-belt
q   Swing out the tensioning pulley with a ring spanner
q   the tensioning pulley can be secured by inserting the 4 mm hexagon socket wrench into the fit hole
2 - Bracket for auxiliary units
3 - 50 Nm
q   Tightening sequence: tighten first top right bolt, then bottom right bolt, and last the bolts at the left (looking in direction of travel)
4 - 23 Nm
5 - AC generator
q   removing and installing → Electrical System → Rep. gr.27
q   to facilitate the positioning of the generator, drive the threaded bushings for fixing screws at the generator slightly backwards
6 - 20 Nm + torque a further 1/4 turn (90°)
7 - Bushing
q   2 pieces
8 - 25 Nm
9 - AC compressor
q   removing and installing → Heating, Air Conditioning → Rep. gr.87
10 - V-ribbed belt
q   mark the direction of rotation with chalk or a felt-tip pen before removing
q   check for wear
q   removing and installing → Chapter
q   Routing of the ribbed V-belt → Chapter
11 - Belt pulley
q   for the V-ribbed belt
12 - 150 Nm + torque a further 1/2 turn (180°)
q   replace
q   The contact surfaces of the fixing screw and the belt pulley must be free of grease and oil
q   Oil the thread of the screw
q   Counterhold belt pulley with counterholder -T30004 (3415)- with bolt -T30004/1 (3415/1)-
q   tightening may occur in successive stages
q   the torquing angle can be measured with a commercially available angle measuring plate, e.g. -Hazet 6690-
