Testing Brake Vacuum Pump V192: Octavia Mk1 Chassis Brakes

Testing brake vacuum pump V192
Testing brake vacuum pump -V192-
During the start operation, the brake vacuum pump must start -V192- running briefly.
Work procedure
–  Run the vehicle on the lift platform, switch off engine.
–  Start engine.
–  A second person must check the operation of the brake vacuum pump by touching it with the hand -V192-.
If the brake vacuum pump -V192- does not run:
–  Interrogate the fault memory of the engine control unit → Engine, Fuel Injection and Ignition System; Rep. gr.01.
