Testing cruise control system (CC) > < Testing engine speed signal

Activating and deactivating cruise control system (CCS)
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Vehicle system tester -V.A.G 1552- with cable -V.A.G 1551/3, 3A, 3B oder 3C-
Test conditions
l  There must not be any fault in the fault memory → Chapter.
Test sequence
–  Connecting up the vehicle system tester -V.A.G 1552- and selecting the control unit for engine electronics → Chapter.
Readout on display, e.g.:
   
If G000AG is displayed the cruise control system is activated.

If 0000AG is displayed the cruise control system is deactivated.

Readout on display:
–  Enter 11 for the function “Login procedure” and confirm entry with the Q key.
–  Enter code number by referring to the table below and confirm entry with Q key.
