  Note
After each successful “log-in” function the immobiliser is deactivated for 10 minutes, i.e. it is not purposeful to perform a system or functional test during this period.
–  The ignition must be switched "Off" for at least 30 seconds.
–  Cover the reader coil with a metal plate with a slot, e.g. place a suitable flat washer on the ignition lock and insert the ignition key through the hole into the ignition lock.
or
Separate the electrical cable of the reader coil at the plug between the ignition starter switch and the immobiliser control unit.
–  Activate the starter.
The engine must not run and the warning light must flash.
–  Initiating self-diagnosis of immobilizer → Chapter.
–  Interrogating fault memory → Chapter:
One of the following error messages appears on the display.
