Bleeding the clutch system > < Removing and installing the master cylinder
Remove and install the tube-hose line
Remove and install the tube-hose line
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Hose clamps up to 25 mm -MP7-602 (3094)-
t  Pliers -T10005-
  Note
If the battery earth strap is disconnected and connected, carry out additional operations → Electrical System → Rep. Gr.27.
   
–  Remove intake hose -1-.
–  Detach vent hose -2- and unplug connector -3- from air mass meter.
–  Remove the complete air filter housing, to do so release bolts -4- and -5-.
–  Remove additional relay carrier in left engine compartment and unclip line holder.

–  Remove battery and battery tray -arrows-.

–  Disconnect the return hose -A- to the brake fluid reservoir with the hose clamp -MP7-602 (3094)- and detach.
–  Lever out clamp -B- for tube-hose line in the -direction of the arrow- up to the stop using a screwdriver.
–  Release and cut the tube-hose line -C- out of the master cylinder.

–  Pull tube-hose line -1- from the holder -2- at the frame side rail.

–  Lever out clamp -B- for tube-hose line -A- in the -direction of the arrow- up to the stop using a screwdriver.
–  Pull tube-hose line out of the bleeder -C-.
–  Remove tube-hose line.
Install
Installation is performed in the reverse order, pay attention to the following points:
–  After installing the tube-hose line bleed the clutch system → Chapter.
