Separate collar from gearshift knob
Separate collar from gearshift knob
Removing
–  Turn collar inside out.
   
–  Lever apart clamping sleeve -arrow- with screwdriver.
–  Detach clamping sleeve from gearshift knob.
–  Turn collar inside out and detach from gearshift knob.
Install
–  Turn collar inside out.
–  Insert gearshift knob into collar.
–  Push clamping sleeve over gearshift knob and collar. Press together clamping sleeve until it clicks into place.

Both small catch pegs -1- of the clamping sleeve must lock into the recesses of the gearshift knob -2-.
