Removing and installing electrically operated seats
Removing and installing electrically operated seats
  WARNING
Safety precautions are to be applied when handling seats with side airbags → Chapter.
Removing
–  Disconnect battery earth strap → Electrical System → Rep. gr.27.
   
–  Slide seat forwards -1-.
–  Remove rear fixing screws -2- (40 Nm).
–  Slide seat backwards -1-.
–  Remove front fixing screws -4- (40 Nm).
–  Raise seat in the front area and remove cover for plug connections -3-.

–  Disconnect plug connections -2-, -3- and -4-.
–  Remove seat -1- from the vehicle.
Installing:
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse order; pay attention to the following points:

Pay attention to the sequence when connecting the battery → Electrical System → Rep. gr.27.
