Removing
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Hose clamps -MP7-602 (3094)-
  WARNING
The cooling system is under pressure, the coolant temperature can be over 100°C when the engine is warm - risk of burning!
Before repairs, reduce pressure and temperature if necessary.
–  Remove noise insulation → Body Work; Rep. gr.50 and front part of wheelhouse liner → Body Work; Rep. gr.66.
–  On vehicles where the plug is not directly located at the circulating pump housing (up to CW 01.10) - Remove bumper → Body Work; Rep. gr.63.
   
–  Vehicles up to CW 01.10 - Disconnect the plug -2- from the control unit and expose the cable to the pump -1-.

–  Vehicles as of CW 02.10 - Disconnect the plug -1- from the pump -2-.

–  Disconnect the coolant hoses from the hose clamps -MP 7-602 (3094)-.
–  Slacken clamps -1- and pull off the coolant hoses from the circulating pump -V55-.
–  Release screw -2- and remove circulating pump -V55-.
Install
Installation is performed in the reverse order, pay attention to the following points:
–  After installing the circulating pump, top up the refrigerant circuit and ventilate → Engine → Rep. gr.19.
