Removing and installing cylinder head cover
Removing and installing cylinder head cover
Observe all safety measures and notes for assembly work on the fuel and injection system as well as the rules for cleanliness → Chapter.
Removing
–  Remove engine cover → Chapter.
–  Remove the injection units → Chapter.
   
–  Detach vacuum lines with bracket from the cylinder head cover -arrows-.

–  Remove top part of toothed belt guard, to do so release clips -arrows-.

–  Release the fixing screws of the cylinder head cover in the sequence -6...1-.
–  Remove cylinder head cover.
Install
Installation is performed in the reverse order, pay attention to the following points:

Replace all the gaskets.
  N15-10585
–  Tighten the screws for the cylinder head cover in the sequence -1…6- by hand.
–  Tighten the screws for the cylinder head cover in the sequence -1 ... 6- to 10 Nm.
–  Check fuel system for tightness → Chapter.
