Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Catch pan, e.g. -V.A.G 1306-
t  Torque wrench
Removing
–  Drain coolant → Chapter.
–  Remove front bumper → Body Work; Rep. Gr. 63.
–  Remove the coolant hoses from the radiator.
–  Remove the cooling coil for hydraulic oil in the power-assisted steering → Body work; Rep. Gr.50.
–  Remove the upper fixing clips on the radiator and pull the radiator out in a forwards direction.
–  Observe supplementary instructions and assembly work → Chapter.
Install
Installation is performed in the reverse order. Pay attention to the following points:
–  Filling system with coolant → Chapter.
–  Electrical connections and proper routing → Current flow diagrams and Fitting locations.
–  Inspect headlight beam setting and adjust if necessary: → Superb.
