Disassembling and assembling engine > < Removing and installing engine
Replace needle bearing for crankshaft
Replace needle bearing for crankshaft
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Kukko 21/2 and Kukko 22/1
t  Centering mandrel -T 30029-
  Note
For installing an engine in a vehicle with manual gearbox, check whether the needle bearing is built into the rear of the crankshaft. Install the needle bearing as required.
Removing
   
–  Pull out using an extractor -A-, e.g. Kukko 21/2 and Kukko 22/1.
Install
  V13-0903
–  Drive in using a centering pin -T 30029-
t  The marked side of the needle bearing should be legible when in its installed condition
  S13-0332
Depth of installation of the needle bearing
t  Dimension -a- = 1.5 mm
