Silencer with hangers > < Removing and installing parts of the exhaust system

1 - Exhaust manifold
2 - 25 Nm
3 - Washer
q   if collar nut fitted, then not present
4 - Shield
q   just loosen to remove the front attachment point.
5 - Gasket
q   replace
6 - Lambda probe upstream of catalytic converter -G39-*, 50 Nm
q   only grease thread with “G 052 112 A3”; “G 052 112 A3” must not get into the slots of the probe body
q   removing and installing with -3337-
7 - 4-pin plug connector
q   black
q   for a lamda probe before the catalytic converter -G39- and lamda probe heating -Z19-
q   fixed to the bulkhead on left in the direction of travel (below the expansion bottle)
q   contacts 3 and 4 of the plug connection are gold-plated
8 - 4-pin plug connector
q   Brown
q   for a lamda probe after the catalytic converter -G130- and lamda probe heating -Z29-
q   fixed to the bulkhead on left in the direction of travel (below the expansion bottle)
q   contacts 3 and 4 of the plug connection are gold-plated
9 - Lambda probe after catalyst -G130 -*, 50 Nm
q   only grease thread with “G 052 112 A3”; “G 052 112 A3” must not get into the slots of the probe body
q   removing and installing with -3337-
10 - Catalytic converter
11 - 40 Nm
12 - to the central silencer
13 - Front exhaust pipe
q   with a decoupling element
14 - Hanger
q   individual components → Fig.
15 - 25 Nm
