  WARNING
Disconnect the earth strap from the battery before commencing work on the electrical system → Electrical System → Rep. Gr.27.
Additional operations should be carried out after the battery earth strap has been connected → Electrical System → Rep. Gr.27.
   
1 - 1.5 Nm
2 - Mounting cover
3 - 1.5 Nm
4 - Centre console
q   Removing:
–  Remove front seats → Chapter.
–  Remove the extension of the centre console Pos. 10.
–  Remove screws Pos. 9.
–  Unclip frame Pos. 6 and transmission cover Pos. 7.
–  Remove ashtray Pos. 8
–  Remove instrument panel → Chapter.
–  Remove screws Pos. 1 and take off assembly cover Pos. 2.
–  Remove screws Pos. 3.
–  Lever out clamps Pos. 5 and remove console.
q   Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.

7 - Transmission cover
q   removing and installing → Pos. 4
8 - Ashtray
q   removing and installing → Chapter
9 - 1.5 Nm
10 - Extension of the centre console
q   Removing:
–  Remove rear support Pos. 14.
–  Unclip storage compartment Pos. 11.
–  Remove air guide Pos. 12.
–  Remove nuts Pos. 21.
–  Take off handbrake cover.
–  Pull on the handbrake and push out extension of centre console.
q   Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
11 - Storage tray
12 - Air deflector
13 - Rear seat heating control
14 - Rear support
q   Removing:
–  Remove rear ashtray Pos. 18.
–  Take out ashtray and unclip rear frame Pos. 16.
–  Disconnect plug connections from the rear seat heating control Pos. 13.
–  Remove screws Pos. 20 and push out rear trim panel.
q   Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
15 - Cigarette lighter
16 - Rear surround
17 - Socket
18 - Ashtray
19 - Rear air vents
20 - 1.5 Nm
21 - 10 Nm
