1 - Vacuum line
q   do not change bending form
2 - Heat shield collar
q   replace if damaged
3 - 9 Nm
4 - Radiator for exhaust gas recirculation
q   with change-over flap
q   Check change-over for radiator for exhaust gas recirculation → Chapter
q   removing and installing → Chapter
5 - Gasket
q   replace
6 - 22 Nm
7 - Connecting pipe
q   for exhaust gas recirculation
  Caution
Pay attention that the bellows of the connection pipe is not bent or overstretched. There is a risk of crack formation.
8 - 9 Nm
9 - Clamp
10 - 22 Nm
11 - 9 Nm
12 - Exhaust gas return valve -N18-
q   consists of:
t  mechanical valve (electrically operated)
t  EGR control motor - V338-
t  EGR potentiometer - G212-
q   removing and installing → Chapter
13 - Sealing ring
q   replace
14 - Connecting pipe
q   for exhaust gas recirculation
  Caution
Pay attention that the bellows of the connection pipe is not bent or overstretched. There is a risk of crack formation.
15 - 22 Nm
16 - 10 Nm
