Function
The low beam is switched on by rotating the combination switch to switch position 2. The SAM control unit reads in the switch position of the
combination switch and actuates the left and right low beam.
The status message "low beams on" is transmitted by the SAM control unit via the CAN to the instrument cluster, which then actuates the low beams
indicator lamp.
