Power Steering Line/Hose: Service and Repair
Pipe Assembly
REMOVAL
1) Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
2) Lift-up the vehicle, and then remove the jack-up plate.
3) Remove the one pipe joint at the center of gearbox, and then connect the vinyl hose to pipe and joint. Discharge fluid by turning steering wheel
fully clockwise and counterclockwise. Discharge fluid similarly from the other pipe.
4) Remove the clamp E from pipes C and D.
5) Disconnect the pipe C and D from gear box.
6) Remove the air intake duct.
