Drive/Propeller Shaft: Description and Operation
1. PROPELLER SHAFT
A: MT Vehicle
The propeller shaft model utilizes a 2-piece design that is provided with three joints.
B: AT Vehicle
The constant velocity joint propeller shaft is installed to provide quiet operation of drive line components. The center joint is a Double Offset Joint
(DOJ) type which extends and retracts in the axial direction.
