Remove upper heater unit retaining bolts.

Lift heater unit up approximately 0.39" and remove from installed position.
11.
Remove heater core fitting assembly cover.
12.
Disconnect rod from plastic clamp.
13.
Remove inlet and outlet hose clamps. Twist cotter pin counterclockwise to remove outlet hose clamp.
14.
To remove heater core fitting assembly, remove retaining screws and pull assembly up and forward.
15.
Disconnect defroster flap control rod.
16.
Remove heater case retaining clips and separate the halves.
17.
Remove heater core.
18.
Reverse procedure to install.
