1983 MODELS WITH A DIGITAL INSTRUMENT PANEL
SUBJECT:
SPEEDOMETER CHANGE
A change in the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 127, allows the maximum speed display of the digital dashboard to be increased from 85 MPH
(140km/h) to 120 MPH (180km/h).
Vehicles equipped with digital instrument panel produced in April, 1983 and later, from the serial numbers listed below, will reflect this change. All
other functions of the digital dashboard remain the same.
