Headlamp Dimmer Switch: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable and remove steering wheel trim pad.

2.

Mark installation position of steering wheel, remove retaining nut, then remove steering wheel using suitable puller.

3.

Remove screws securing lower steering column cover and the cover.

4.

Remove steering column upper mounting screws and pull down on column as needed, then remove upper column cover.

5.

Release switch harness retaining straps and remove combination switch mounting screws.

6.

Disconnect electrical connectors and remove combination switch assembly.

7.

Reverse procedure to install.
