The Automatic Transmission differential holding fixture (SOA 626 714) must be modified for attachment to the 1983 4 Wheel Drive Automatic
Transmission Differential (See attached sheet)..

Please note that only the 3 bolt holes marked "B" (on attached Template) are used for mounting the fixture to a 1983 4 Wheel Drive differential.

NOTE:

Earlier information released with the 1983 4WD A/T Tool package for modifying the differential holding fixture (SOA 626 714) is erroneous
(See Figure 1).

Use only the attached template when modifying the holding fixture.
