Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the air intake duct and air cleaner assembly. <Ref. to REMOVAL, Air Intake Duct.> and <Ref. to REMOVAL, Air Cleaner Case.>
3. Disconnect the connector from the engine coolant temperature sensor.
4. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.
INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Tightening Torque: .......................................................................................................................................................... 18 Nm (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft. lbs)
