Clutch Control Solenoid Valve: Testing and Inspection

MEASURE VOLTAGE SIGNAL FROM TCM 

Measure TCM Signal Voltage Output

1.

Install spare fuse on FWD switch and set in FWD mode.

2.

Turn ignition switch ON (engine not running).

3.

Move shift lever to "D."

4.

Measure TCM voltage output (with accelerator pedal released).

Voltage

8.5 Volts, minimum

Turn ignition switch OFF.

6.

Remove spare fuse from FWD switch.

7.

Turn ignition switch ON (engine not running).

8.

Move selector lever to "D."

Measure TCM Signal Voltage Output

9.

Measure TCM voltage output (with accelerator pedal fully depressed).
