Modification of 6-speed MT Oil Pan and Drain Plug
Introduction
The purpose of this bulletin is to inform you that the style of the 6-speed oil drain plug has changed from a hexagon head to an Allen hexagon head,
along with the size of the hole in the oil pan assembly. The torque specification for the drain plug has also changed.
Countermeasure in Production
The new style oil pan and drain plug was used in production starting in November, 2007 with VIN 83215575 for Legacy and 8L813536 for Impreza.
