Automatic transmission models - shift in to Drive range and maintain an idle for 3 minutes. Use brakes as needed.
5.
Manual transmission models - maintain engine idle for 3 minutes.
6.
Turn off the air conditioner and allow the engine to idle for 3 minutes.
7.
Confirm the engine idle is stable.
