The updated software was used in production starting with the VINs shown above.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROGRAM UPDATING
Note:
^ Do not turn the ignition switch off from the Accessory position or start the engine while the update is loading.
^ All updates from the Update disc are deleted any time the (+) positive or (-) negative battery cable is disconnected.
Reminder:
If at any time the (+) positive or (-) negative battery cable is disconnected the update procedure will need to be performed AGAIN.
1)
Turn the ignition switch to the Accessory position. Press power button so that the Start-up CAUTION screen is displayed.

Touch the "Agree" soft-key. The map screen will be displayed.
