Carburetor Float: Adjustments

1.

Remove and invert the choke chamber.

2.

If clearance ``H'' indicated in Fig. 6 is .437 inch when float seat contacts float stem, fuel level is correct.

3.

To adjust the fuel level, bend portion ``P'' of float seat.

4.

To adjust the effective needle valve stroke, proceed as follows:

a. Measure clearance ``A'' between top of float with float arm extended and bottom of float with float arm down.
b. If measured distance is not 1.835 inch, adjust by bending float stopper ``Q.''
